Passed away Monday, January 23, 2017. Age 90. Beloved wife of the late Richard for 56 years. Loving mother of Terry Ann (the late David) Lesnik, James, the late John (Barb), Janet (Don) Pipal, William (Bonnie), Robert (Diane), and Mary Kay (Jeffrey) Hovorka. Loving grandma of Kristine (Michael) Kersey, Danielle (Matt) Perrigo, Elizabeth (fiancé Cal), Scott (fiancée Sarika) Pipal, Lauren, Lindsey, Ashley, Dustin, Katelyn Hovorka, Claire Hovorka, and Charlotte Hovorka. Proud great-grandma of Ryan Kersey, Luke Kersey, the late Amelia Perrigo, and Declan Perrigo. Dear sister of Geraldine (the late Jack) Vander Heyden and Thomas J. (Joan) Lewandowski. Also loved by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation at Saint Matthias Catholic Church, 9300 West Beloit Road, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, on Saturday, January 28, 2017, from 10:00 AM-10:45 AM. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM. Interment St. Adalbert’s Cemetery.

Dorothy was a proud registered nurse who spent a majority of her time at St. Luke’s Medical Center. She was a nurse cadet during WWII.

Dear Weiss family. I worked with Dorothy at Milwaukee Digestive Disease Consultants for many years. Dorothy was such a breath of fresh air. I loved talking with her.
