Kathryn “Kathy” Lynn Seynhoven entered God’s loving arms peacefully surrounded by loved ones on Saturday, February 6th, 2021 at the age of 59. Kathy courageously fought a hard painful battle with cancer.
She was preceded in death by her father Donald Seynhoven, grandparents Howard and Louise Peterson and Albert and Ada Seynhoven.
Kathy is survived by her adored daughter Maria Rose Seynhoven and her loving mother Marlene Sue Seynhoven. She is further survived by her cherished cousin Cynthia Castagna and devoted friends Agnes Wattecamps, Patty De Bruin and Marie-Helene Marin. Also survived by dear cousins, other relatives and friends.
Kathy graduated from Wauwatosa West High School, U. W. Madison and studied at the Sorbonne in Paris. She was proficient in French and taught at the French Immersion School before moving on to teach different subjects at all grade levels.
A person of deep faith, she began each day attending mass. This helped her embrace life with zeal and see the positive in all situations. She was a fierce competitor in any game but she enjoyed Pickle Ball the most.
A special thanks to the compassionate, caring staff at Seasons Hospice.
