Willie Joe Fowlkes

Age 77, of Brookfield, WI, born May 27, 1937. Willie was reunited with his beloved wife, Shirley J. Fowlkes, on Monday, November 17, 2014. Loving father of Mario Howard, Christopher (Melissa) Fowlkes, Michelle (Daniel) Schroeder, and Corey (Lisa) Fowlkes; and proud grandfather of Myla, Jackson, Gabriella, Shiloh, Joseph & Nathan. Willie is survived by his brother, David (Bea) Fowlkes; sister, Mossie (Perry) Morgan; and sisters-in-law, Willie Mae, Christine and Geraldine. He is preceded in death by his parents, Beatrice & Prather Fowlkes; siblings, Jesse (Betty), Elders (Ann), Billy (Jesse Mae), Frank, Larry (Mary), Freddy, Lily Mae (Roosevelt), Jay (Lily Mae), Prather (Ernie), Dicies (Thurman), Francis (Willie), and Wank.

Willie loved spending time with his family, cooking, taking long drives in the country, old cars and tractors. He and Shirley spent many of their afternoons driving through the country and looking at old farms. He also was known for his sense of humor.

Visitation will be held at WISCONSIN MEMORIAL PARK, Chapel of the Chimes, 13235 West Capitol Drive, on Friday, November 21, at 1:00 PM until time of Service at 2:00 PM.
