Passed away peacefully on August 3, 2023, at age 82. Survived by daughter Cheryl; brother-in-law Chuck; nephew David (Carolyn); nieces Marianne (Bob) and Carolyn (John); great nieces and nephews Dan, Lynn, Jenn, Stef, Katie, Tony, and Brian; and several great-great-nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by brothers Jerome and Francis; sister Gloria; and great-niece Sara.

Visitation at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, WI on Thursday, August 10, at 9:30 AM until time of Service at 11:00 AM.

I could not have had a better friend, we traveled coast to coast in our Corvettes & Excaliburs. Bill took me in when I went through a devastating divorce, so Bill & I lived together in his home for 3 years. We shared everything from finances, emotions to dreams. His family was so welcoming to me as I shared many holiday meals with his parents and siblings. His family was my adopted family. We were friends for 53 years and talked at least once a week for the whole 53 years, I might also add, we never had a falling out, in all those years. His family came to my wedding as Bill was my best man (Best Friend as well. We shared lifes triumphs & disapointments always ending the conversation with "THANKS FOR BEING A GREAT FRIEND" My wife and I will truly miss Bill being in our lives. I can only hope to catch up with him later. Gary & Sandy Norton
