William J. Purtell

William J. Purtell age 84 died on Wednesday, October 11, 2023.

He was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, the son of J Gerald and Frances Purtell. Beloved husband of Patricia (nee Croeker) who he was united in marriage to on August 18, 1973 at Our Savior Church in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Brother of Donald (Margie) Purtell and Neil (Kathy) Purtell along with several nieces and nephews.

Bill was a graduate of Milwaukee Pius High School and went on the Milwaukee Area Technical College and then Milwaukee School of Engineering in the areas of occupational safety and compliance. He worked as a safety officer for Maynard Steel, Rexnord and Western Industries, where he received recognition for his work and dedication. He and Patti founded KeyPoint Management Inc. and he continued to work for the company until his full retirement. In his free time, Bill enjoyed travel, supporting the Green Bay Packers, time with various dog companions, and financial planning. He was a long-time parish member of St. Matthias Catholic Church. Bill wishes to thank everyone for their prayers and kindness, especially the dedicated and caring staff at Clement Manor.

Visitation followed by a Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, November 4, 2023 from 9:30 AM until the 11:30 AM, service at the chapel of Clement Manor, 3939 S 92nd St, Greenfield, Wisconsin
