William “Bill” Frick rode his final journey into the arms of Jesus on Thursday, January 27, 2022, at age 63. He was surrounded by his loving family. Loving husband and best friend of Barb (nee Schafer) Frick. Proud and devoted father of Kylie, Morgan, Will and Abby. Dear brother of Christine (Scott) Glass. Further survived by Don Schafer, Fran (Dan) Casebeer and nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Frederick and Patricia Frick and his brother, Fred.
Bill lived his life to the fullest. He was an avid motorcyclist, always looking for the next curve in the road or an opportunity to pull a wheelie. Bill enjoyed taking day trips with Barb on the Honda Gold Wing and was looking forward to many more. Boating was another favorite activity he enjoyed, from the time of his first Bayliner in the 80s to his 27 ft. Formula today. He enjoyed downhill skiing, water skiing, bike riding, dirt biking, snowmobiling and tanning with friends and family. He was a pool shark and a mean foosball player who could take down anyone who was up for the challenge. Bill loved being a truck driver and was proud to be a Teamster. He could back up a semi-truck, a utility trailer or a boat into the tinniest spot without any hesitation.
He will be remembered for his quick wit and unique sense of humor. He made us all laugh even on his last day here on earth. He was always about more power, whether it was his motorcycles, boats, tools, zero turn lawn mower or electronics. Bill was the best handy man. He was mechanically inclined and loved the challenge of fixing anything around the house. To all who knew Bill, he loved talking politics and had a mission to spread the word to anyone who would listen. His knowledge of history and random facts made him an asset on the family trivia team.
While we wish we had more time with him, we are comforted in knowing that Bill is no longer suffering and is resting comfortably in Heaven. He will be greatly missed by his family and many dear friends. “I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.” (2 Timothy 4:7) We would like to thank all our friends and family who have supported us over the past 6 months with endless prayers, meals, cards, flowers, services and words of encouragement to help us through this difficult time.
A Celebration of Life for Bill will be on Monday, February 7, 2022, at Spring Creek Church, N35 W22000 West Capitol Drive, Pewaukee, Wisconsin, 53072. The visitation will be from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM. with the service beginning at 6:00 PM.
