Passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 30, 2012. Age 92. Loving husband for 27 years of Vernette. Father of Patricia (Jack Hawthorne), Linda (Richard) Rogge, Mary, Michael (Stephanie), Margaret (Mark) McArdle, and Pamela Filipiak. Grandfather to 8 and great-grandfather to 8. Also survived by step-children: Sharilyn Marshall, Janis Gray, and Guy Robb; 4 step-grandchildren and 5 step-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his first wife Rosemary, brother Edward and sister Margaret.Private family services will be held at a later date.Born in Michigan, graduate of Michigan State University with an Engineering Degree, and worked at Allis Chalmers for 41 years. Served as an officer in the US Army during WWII. After retirement he resided in Green Valley, AZ for 22 years. Avid golfer, especially proud of his 3 holes-in-one.HE WILL BE DEARLY MISSED
