Died peacefully November 7, 2013, age 93. Preceded in death by his beloved wife Virginia C. (nee Kipps) and survived by his wife Catherine (nee Jensen). Dear father of John (Paulen, nee Emrich) Wrigley, Susan Wrigley and Stephen (Debra, nee England) Wrigley. Grandfather of 5 and great-grandfather of 6.
Proudly served his country in the US Army during WWII. When he left the service he joined the seminary and became the founding pastor at Gethsemane Evangelical Lutheran Church in Brookfield. He left the ministry in 1964 and became a physics professor at UWCW, retiring in 1995. Victor always believed religion and science complemented each other. In retirement, he joined the Bel Canto Chorus, traveling with them to Europe, and also volunteered with Habitat for Humanity and the Waukesha Womens Center.
Gathering at the Funeral Home, 9000 West Capitol Drive, Sunday, November 17, 3:00-3:30 PM. Memorial service 3:30 PM, the Reverend Vivian Thomas-Breitfeld presiding. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to Habitat for Humanity.
