Vernon Donald Foshager, D.D.S.

Of Wauwatosa, found peace on March 26, 2015 at age 92. Preceded in death by Doris, his beloved wife of 62 years, nine sisters and 1 brother. Survived by dear children Paul (Chris), Mary M.D., Mark (Deb) and John, grandpa of Daniel (Christina), David, Melissa (Kurt) Kappeler, Ann, Benjamin, Heidi, Erik, Brett, Nora and Alexander, great grandpa of Greta, Aiden and Ingrid Kappeler.

Dr. Foshager attended St. Olaf College and graduated from the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry in 1947. He served in the Army and was a veteran of WWII and the Korean War. He was a diplomat of the American Board of Periodontology and directed a residency program in Periodontics at Zablocki Medical Center of Milwaukee, WI for 22 years. Following 30 years on the faculty at Marquette University School of Dentistry, he was appointed adjunct professor emeritus in 1987.

Visitation at LUTHER MANOR FAITH and EDUCATION CENTER, 4545 N. 92nd Street, Wauwatosa on Tuesday, April 7, 2015 from 10-11AM. Funeral service to begin at 11AM. Private entombment.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) MACC Fund (Milwaukee Athletes Against Childhood Cancer), Autism Society of Wisconsin, Luther Manor Foundation or a charity of one's choice.
