Thomas Richard Moog, age 72, passed away peacefully on January 16th, 2015.
Born November 20th, 1942, in Oak Park, Illinois, he lived the majority of his life in the Milwaukee, Wisconsin area. He spent his career working for the United States Postal Service starting as a letter carrier and moving on to a Postal Supervisor at various stations throughout the Milwaukee area.
In retirement, he enjoyed working for Midwest Express Airlines as well as driving tour coaches around the country for Lamers Coach Lines.
Tom's real passion was flying. He began his training in February of 1972 and obtained his certification as a private pilot in August of 1972. In 1973, Tom made one of his longest flights to the Bahamas.
Tom also enjoyed golfing, Amateur Radio (HAM), and being active in various organizations including the Amateur Radio Relay League (ARRL), Milwaukee Repeater Club (MRC), National Association of Postal Supervisors (NAPS), and various Masonic Organizations.
Thomas is survived by his sons Matthew and Brian, his brother Randy, his grandchildren Eva, Caity, Lucas, and Amberleigh, as well as other relatives.
Thomas is preceded in death by his parents Myra and Richard Moog.
