Thomas N. Lesch

Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his family on Sunday, June 5, 2016. Preceded in death by his parents, John and Elizabeth; his sisters, Rosie and Nancy; and his brother, John. Loving and devoted husband of Darlene Lesch. Proud and caring dad of Tom (Cheryl) Lesch, Carrie (Lou) Lapow, Sue (Tony) Szymborski and Julie Frey. Cherished grandpa of Hayley, Sarah, Justin, Leah, Rachel, Mandy, Alex, Allison and Colin. Dear brother of Kathy (Tom) Peters, Jeanne (Lu) Leardi and Dean (Michelle) Lesch. Further survived by step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.

Visitation at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, WI on Friday, June 10, 2016 from 4:00 PM – 6:45 PM. Funeral Service at 7:00 PM. Interment at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at 10:00 AM. Please meet at the Cemetery Office.

Tom retired as the Director of District 10 AFL-CIO. Tom enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with his family.

God saw he was getting tired

and a cure was not to be,

so He put His Arms

around him and whispered,

"Come with Me."

With tearful eyes we watched him suffer,

and saw him slowly fade away,

although we loved him dearly,

we could not make him stay.

A golden heart stopped beating,

hard working hands put to rest.

God broke our hearts to prove to Us,

He only takes the best.
