Theodore (Ted) Wallner passed away peacefully on December 30, 2020, at the age of 86. His bride Carol Wallner (Mielke) of 61 years was at his side.
Ted was a veteran of the United States Army and was part-owner of Badger Metal Trims for 41 years. He was elected to the Wisconsin Floor Covering Association Hall of Fame. Ted and Carol were one of the original homeowners on Lake Sherwood in Rome, Wisconsin, spending many summers boating, skiing, tubing, and fishing, and many winters snowmobiling. Along with Carol, Ted enjoyed traveling, going to casinos, playing cards, and cheering on the Green Bay Packers.
Ted is also survived by his son Neal (Sally) Wallner, daughter Lisa (Kevin) Behnke, son Scott (Deb) Wallner; grandchildren Kelly Carl, Janelle (Mike) Andrews, Brett (Eden) Wallner, Joel Behnke (Angela), Jennifer Behnke (John) and Alex (Kali) Wallner; and great-grandchildren Isabelle, Nathan, Wyatt, Lucca, Hadley, Kinzley, and Everly. He is preceded in death by his sister MaryAnn Kranker and his grandson Jordan Wallner.
