T.J Berry

T.J Berry, a Father, Brother, Uncle, and Friend, was born on March 17, 1953, to the union of the late LeRoy and Virgie Mitchell in Jonestown, MS. He received his early Junior and Senior Academic Education in the Milwaukee Public School System graduating in 1971 from North Division. T.J. accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age under the leadership of the late Rev. Phillips at Greater Galilee Baptist Church in Milwaukee, WI.Enlisted into the United States Navy in 1971 and discharged in 1983, he later began employment as a CA Fire Fighter and held the position as a Butcher with Southern, CA United Food until his retirement.

T.J enjoyed driving, traveling, sports, family gatherings and had plenty jokes.

He was preceded in death by his parents LeRoy and Virgie Mitchell, one sister, Minnie Pearl of Colorado.

He leaves precious memories to: His daughter, Jael Berry of San Diego, CA; Three sisters, Sylvia Galloway (Luke) of Eden NC; Belinda Berry of Dallas TX, Arteria Mitchell of Racine, WI; Three Brothers; Willie Mitchell of Milwaukee, WI; Eddie James and J.D. Mitchell of Jonestown, MS. And a host of aunts, uncles and other nieces, cousins and many other special relatives and friends. A special recognition to Rena Jones.
