Rowe, Susan Connelly – Born into Eternal Life on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, at age 71.
Sue is survived by her husband of forty-four years, Mike; her children, Bryan (Ashley) and Justin (Ashley); and her siblings, Lynda (Bob), Barb (Roger), Tom (Mona), and Tami (Bill). She was preceded in death by her father, Bernard Connelly, and her mother, Dorothy Kealey.
Sue dedicated the majority of her professional life to the Miller Brewing Company, where she excelled in corporate affairs, employee programs, and brewery supervision, eventually continuing her leadership as Vice President of the MillerCoors Retiree Club. Her commitment to service extended deeply into her faith and community; she was a beloved employee, deacon, and active member of Calvary Lutheran Church. This philanthropic spirit was evident in her tireless work for causes such as chaperoning a mission trip with Calvary Lutheran Church to the southeast U.S., volunteering with the Lakefront Festival of Art, and ushering at the Sunset Playhouse. Above all, Sue embraced life with a sense of adventure, cherishing the times she spent traveling with friends and experiencing the world. Sue’s impact will be remembered by many.
The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to Froedtert Hospital, Horizon Hospice, Calvary Lutheran Church, and the many family members and friends who visited and supported Sue over the course of her illness.
A service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, January 31, 2026 at Calvary Lutheran Church, 1750 North Calhoun Road, Brookfield, Wisconsin. Sue’s Celebration of Life will continue after the service at the Miller Brewing Company Stables, 4101 West State State, Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the American Cancer Society (ACS) or to Breakthrough T1D (formerly JDRF).
