Steven C. Armstrong

Passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at the age of 74. Steve was born to James Robert Armstrong and Mary Barbara (Klawann) Armstrong. Loving husband of Diana (Nydahl) Armstrong of 31 years. Devoted father to Jennifer (John Neuman) and April Armstrong. Stepfather to John (deceased) and Jennifer Frey. Grandfather to Samuel, John and Isabella. Survived by sisters Patricia and Rosemary and brothers Ronald, John, Robert and James (deceased).

Steve served in the US Army from 1969 until 1971. He was a machinist by trade at OMC Evinrude for 30 years. From there he was employed by Brown Deer Schools.

He enjoyed playing softball and bowling with the boys. His favorite get-away for many years was to head up north. He had a large group of friends and extended family. He will be reunited with his best fur buddy Max and missed by his furry girl Lexi.

Thank you to the staff of 6 C South at the VA hospital for all their compassionate care.

Everybody knows how we used to battle. Even in the midst of an argument, he would be there for me. No matter what, he was always there. For good things and bad things and just everyday normal things. I always felt his unconditional love. He taught me how to drive, play pool, darts, softball, bowling, too much to list. I will miss you, Dad. I was the luckiest girl in the world to have been given you as my Dad. I love you always.
