Had not hear from Carol in the last few months. We became friends while she was living in Baltimore, MD. She was a good friend and we spoke every couple of months. She is and always will be a good friend and I was sorry to find out that she had passed.

I was blessed to meet Sister Carol in 1962 when we both entered the Salvatorian Community at the Motherhouse on 35th & Center Street in Milwaukee. We became good friends as we lived out our Formation years together. She had a great sense of humor-as well as always being serious about her commitment. To me she had so much common sense about everything and had impressive secretarial and bookkeeping skills. I teased her about her unique way of squeezing her tea bag after she removed it and we often laughed about that. She joined me for fun times while visiting my parents at my family farm in SW Wisconsin. My family loved her as I did. Carol and I stayed in touch whenever and wherever we could even after I left the Community and she went on to take her final vows. Cards, letters, emails, and phone calls kept us connected up until her final months in Wauwatosa. I am grateful that she came into my life. I will always remember her and will continue to believe that she will always be with me.

Carol and I have been friends for many years. We have gone together to shows and concerts at DSHA and always meet at Irish fest. We have had some great times together even in Italy and met the Mother Superior of the order. I showed her pictures of Baltimore and she loved them. I will miss her
