Shirley was one very special lady. I taught at Garden Homes with her. Shirley was the Jack of all at school- from being the book lady, the attendance lady or office lady she was willing to help where needed. I really enjoyed getting to know her outside of school when I would give her a ride to her house on 76 Street. There was usually a cat watching for her to come home! Shirley Knoll you were one very special person.
