Shaylin Crosby was born on June 27, 2003 to April Behounek and Guy Crosby in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
Shaylin graduated from Rufus King High School and attended Columbia College in Chicago. Shaylin was a self taught musician playing the piano and guitar which made her a triple threat as she also sang. She worked as a swim instructor and a lifeguard at the YMCA while pursuing her certification as an EMT At an early age Shaylin’s mission in life was to care for others. During the George Floyd protests Shaylin not only went to fight for justice but she also brought along her first aid kit and lifesaving skills to be able to help others. Shaylin is the youngest of her six siblings. She leaves behind her brother Brian Clayton and brothers Gavin, Christopher, and Myles Crosby as well as her older sister Anastasia Crosby.
Shaylin was a joy to be around and a guiding light for so many.
When the river of tears subsides Shaylin will live on forever.
Visitation will be held Sunday, August 25, 2024 at Krause Funeral Home, 9000 West Capitol Drive, Milwaukee, Wisconsin from 1:00 PM – 3:45 PM. Service to follow at 4:00 PM.
A Final Goodbye will be Monday, August 26, 2024 from 12:00 PM – 2:15 PM, followed by a procession to Graceland Cemetery.
A Repass will take place Monday, August 26, 2024 from 4:00 PM – 7:30 PM at the H.L. Palmer Masonic Lodge, 4315 North 92 Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin 53222
