Sharon A. Larson

Sharon Ann Larson (nee Burbach) was born to eternal life on Thursday, December 14th, 2023 at her home in Waterford with her family by her side. She is joined in Heaven by her dearly loved parents George and June, and brother David Burbach.

Sharon is survived by her loving husband Jon, brothers Steve (Evelyn) and Bill (Sandy) Burbach, her favorite daughter Christal (Jason) Tuttle, loving sons Jonathan (Roxie), Joseph and James (Sarah) Larson. Sharon loved her thirteen grandchildren with all her heart: Catrina, Steven and Alexander Stadler and Addyson Tuttle; Jordyn, Jonathan and Taylor Larson; Jacob Larson; James, Lillyanna, Cayla, George and Ella Larson. Sharon also leaves behind many other family and friends.

Sharon was born on May 1st,1959 to George and June Burbach. Raised in New Berlin and graduated from New Berlin West High School in 1977 and would tell you “West is Best.” Sharon met her soulmate and the love of her life, Jon Larson, on July 14th, 1977. They were married exactly two years later on July 14th, 1979. Married for 44 wonderful years, having the lasting love you could only dream about.

Sharon earned degrees in Secretarial Science (1979) and Radiography (2005). She worked as an X-ray tech at Aurora St Luke’s Hospital and Pain Clinic for 16 years, where she made many lasting friendships.

Sharon was always planning the next adventure for her and Jon and finding the best deals in the process. She loved to garden and would look forward to it every spring, starting many of her plants from seed. She loved to golf and had a very consistent swing. Sharon loved hearing the birds sing early in the morning and watching them throughout the day. She loved hiking and enjoyed camping trips with her family every year at Legend Lake. She loved to smell the pines and always loved nature. She enjoyed fishing, boating, and sitting around the campfire with her family. She loved to see her grandkids playing and having fun, and always looked forward to taking them to the zoo every year.

Sharon’s family would like to thank Aurora Home Hospice, with a special thank you to Danielle, Molly, Greg, Becky, and Melissa.

Visitation 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM on Friday, December 29, 2023 at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin. Additional visitation 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM, followed by 11:00 AM service on Saturday, December 30, 2023 at Holy Apostles Catholic Church, 16000 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin.
