Senia was born to Mary and Robert Sunila in Daggett, MI on January 29, 1912, the middle child of 13. She was married on October 3, 1930. They resided in Iron River, MI until moving to Milwaukee in 1943. They loved to dance and be in plays. They were members of the Washington Park Senior Center where she learned how to play the harmonica. Senia was a retiree of the Singer Co. retiring in 1974. She moved to New Berlin in 1991 to live with her daughter and son in law. She was a member of the Finnish/American Society, a member of "The Harmonicas," the Manor Park Cribbage Club, where she had a perfect "29" game, and the Osceola County on Aging Senior Center in Kissimmee, FL. Senia enjoyed watching Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, and The Golden Girls. She was an avid reader, went on walks twice a day, did the daily crossword puzzle and worked daily on her word search books. She entered Linden Grove in July of 2012 where she met and became best friends and roommates with Mary Luksich. The staff said, "They were like two peas in a pod." She will be remembered by those who loved her for the warm twinkle in her eyes when she laughed and for her wonderful sense of humor; "Such a life without a wife…"
