(Nee Orzel) Age 60. Born September 29, 1952. Passed away Monday, October 15, 2012. Sandi left us to be with and hug mother Anne M. and father Frank P. Orzel, Sr. whom she dearly missed. Survived by husband and partner in life of 36 years, Paul. Loving, giving and ever proud mother of Andrew "Andy," his hard work and accomplishments while attending Marquette University High School. Sandi was so proud that she could attend Andy's graduation and see him accept his diploma. Also survived by caring, dedicated and loving brother Frank P. Orzel; mother-in-law Geraldine (the late Edward) Bogusz; aunt Regina Orzel; cousins Michael (Patti) Orzel, Peggy (Bob Sieber) Orzel; brother-in-law Michael (Betsy) Bogusz, sisters-in-law Mary (Al) Koscielniak, Barbara (Gary) Wojtkowski, and Patty (Dale) Keller. Lifelong best friend, since grade school, of JoAnne Allbaugh, Vivian Demos and Janet Syta. Further survived by nieces and nephews, other relatives, and friends.Graduate of Notre Dame High School, Class of 1970. Sandi was an employee for 25 plus years of AT&T, Wisconsin Bell, Wisconsin Telephone and Ameritech. Sandi was proud of her career accomplishments and most proud of never giving up no matter what challenge came her way.Thank you to the large prayer network and support of the Marquette High School Administrators, Coaches, Staff, Teachers, Classmates and Mother's Guild, Holy Apostles Grade School mothers and parents plus former colleagues, friends, family and neighbors. Thank you to Dr. Peter R. Johnson, his entire caring and loving Oncology Staff at Aurora West Allis Memorial Hospital, the Aurora West Allis Oncology Infusion team, the special nursing group on the 3rd floor of the hospital's Woman's Pavilion as well as the many other hospital staff members that helped Sandi during her three year ordeal with cancer. A special thank you also goes out to Aurora West Allis Hospital administration staff members Tammy, Debbie and Tammy who always greeted Sandi with a big loving hug whenever she arrived for appointments or treatments. Thank you to Vitas Home Hospice Caregivers for their assistance in Sandi's final journey.Visitation at the Funeral Home, Sunday, October 21, from 4:00-7:00 PM with a prayer vigil at 7:00 PM. Please meet at the Funeral Home on Monday at 9:30 AM for procession to church for Mass of Christian Burial at St.Elizabeth Ann Seton Parish, 12700 West Howard Avenue, at 10:30 AM. Final interment at St. Adalbert Cemetery.
