Ross Cannizzo

Was born on October 27, 1964, and died on May 19, 2016. He was preceded in death by beloved grandparents Roy and Rose Cannizzo, and Ardell and Anna Unger, and by his father, Joseph Cannizzo. Ross is survived by his mother Karen Cannizzo, sister Rosie Cannizzo and brother-in-law Ralph Lee, fiancée Barbara Brown, other relatives, and many good friends.

A graduate of Marquette University, Ross had many social and professional affiliations of which he was proud. But he was proudest of being the President of The Milwaukee Time Lords, a club whose members provided Ross with the most astounding support and companionship one could find, in any universe and across the space-time continuum.

His life will be celebrated with a visitation at 10:00 am and the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am on Thursday, May 26, at St. Bernard of Clairvaux in Wauwatosa, followed by interment at Pinelawn Cemetery.

Please feel free to send whatever makes you happy -plants, flowers, pizza. In lieu of these things, memorials may be made to Aurora Zilber Family Hospice for the upkeep of their beautiful facility, which provided much comfort to Ross and his family.

Ross' family would like to thank the staff at Zilber and at the Surgical Intensive Care Unit of Froedtert Hospital, whose boundless professionalism was matched by their kindness and compassion. Special appreciation goes to surgeon Lucia Chou for supporting Ross and his family.
