Ronald “Ron” W. Tetting of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, age 84 was called home on Tuesday July 30, 2024. He was surrounded by family. Dear and loyal husband of 60 years to Bev (nee Novak) Tetting. Dedicated and proud Dad of Dr. Gregg (Kelly) Tetting and Amy (Scott) Burback. Loving and attentive Grandpa to granddaughter Jordan and grandsons, Alex (Amy), Allen-Michael, and Jack.

Ronald “Ron” W. Tetting of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, age 84 was called home on Tuesday July 30, 2024. He was surrounded by family. Dear and loyal husband of 60 years to Bev (nee Novak) Tetting. Dedicated and proud Dad of Dr. Gregg (Kelly) Tetting and Amy (Scott) Burback. Loving and attentive Grandpa to granddaughter Jordan and grandsons, Alex (Amy), Allen-Michael, and Jack.

Ron’s life was marked by his service to others. He thrived in serving his customers over his 42-year career as a respected sales representative in the paper and packaging industry. He served his family as a provider, an advocate, our strength, and our guide. He served his church and his neighborhood by pitching in when needed and leading when asked. That service has been returned by those who supported and loved him in his transition from this life to the next.
He held himself and others to a high standard of integrity, character, and behavior. He was a kind and gentle soul. He loved to dance. He loved his lawn. He was a storyteller who connected with others through sharing experiences and life lessons. He told us he loved by ensuring we would “drive safe” each time we parted ways.

He delighted in the happiness of those he loved and shared in our disappointments and sadness to lighten our burdens. We will miss his presence deeply and anticipate with joy the day we will meet again.

Preceded in death by parents Clarence and Rose (nee Mundt) Tetting, brother Fred Tetting, and in-laws Ed and Evelyn (nee Rakosnik) Novak.

Please join the family of Ron and Bev, as they honor their lives with a joint visitation on Saturday, November 2, 2024, from 10:00 AM – 11:45 AM, at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin. Memorial Service to begin at 12:00 PM.

Ron, or Mr. Tetting as I called him, will definitely be missed. I spent a good portion of my high school summers hanging out with Gregg, Amy, and the neighbor kids, and the Tettings were like a 2nd family to me. I knew Mr. Tetting as a loving and protective husband, father, and grandfather over the years. I enjoyed going to Rufus King basketball games, coaching Job's Daughters softball games, or just chatting about things like sports, school, or my future in general. He was always caring and friendly toward me. I always admired him as a person, a "father," and a friend. My love and prayers go out to his family and loved ones. May he rest in peace. <3
