Ronald Daniel Leskow, age 51, passed away in his home in West Allis, Wisconsin on Wednesday, November 4, 2009. A true lover of motorcycles and country music, Ron spent most of his free time on his Harley Classic, blasting his radio to make sure everyone on the road within ear shot heard Toby Keith's music. He also enjoyed spending time with family, his dog Harley, and friends.Ron was born May 17, 1958 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin to his parents Clara Margaret Casselman Brockway Leskow Smith of Elkhorn, Wisconsin and Stefan John Leskow Sr. of Ukraine. His childhood consisted of getting into any kind of trouble as he could and enjoying life to the fullest. Ron was compassionate, caring, and would be there for anyone in their time of need as a child, and that continued into his adult life. Ron was a man of his word, and a fierce friend to the many who loved him dearly for his devotion and companionship.Ron married Doreen Katie Wilson Leskow on the beautiful summer day of June 16, 1979. Together they raised a family of five beautiful children: Danielle Sherri Kuehn, Ronald Daniel Leskow Jr. (RJ), Leann Lynn Pflueger, Angela Marie Leskow, and Jeffrey Lee Poupore, all of whom survive him. Ronnie lived and worked with a passion few have for their job. A highly skilled and accomplished operator, Ron ran a Pipe Bending Roll Press that rolls solid steel plate into circular units that can be welded to make large steel pipe. Few had the skill and capability to do his job, but he loved it and took pride in it. Working for A-C Equipment Service Corporation was a joy for Ron and he was proud that he operated one of the largest presses in North America.Ron is survived by his ex-wife Doreen, 5 children, and 14 grandchildren. Ron is also survived by his brother Stefan Jon Leskow Jr. (Shawn) and his half-sister Florence Ruth Brockway Chlupac. Ron was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Jeanette Clara Leskow Dachs, and his half-siblings Mary Brockway, Shiela Ann Brockway, Shirley Ann Brockway, and Helen Maude Brockway Schmidt.Visitation at the Funeral Home Saturday, November 14, 2009, 1:00 " 2:45 PM.
