”Big Bad Bob”

November 1, 1932 – October 31, 2024

Born to Eternal Life on Thursday October 31, 2024 at 91 years.

Beloved husband of the late Beverly Yelle (nee Kollath) for 63 years. Devoted father of Linda Budde (Jeff), Thomas Yelle (Janet), and Steven Yelle (Kelly). Loving grandfather to Mariah Horyza (Joe), Julia Yelle, and Kal Yelle (Diana). Also loved by other family and friends.

Preceded in death by parents Albert and Ruth Yelle (nee Luebtow) and brother John Yelle.

Bob enjoyed life, he loved being with people, had a wonderful smile and a great sense of humor. One of his favorite phrases was “If you need nothing, just call me.” He attended the Honor Flight with son Tom in 2021, and he loved to travel.

Special thank you to the residents and staff at the Courtyard at Sussex for their loving care and support.

Visitation at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin on Tuesday, November 12, 2024 from 9:00 AM – 10:45 AM with service at 11:00 AM.

Deepest condolences to the family of Big Bad Bob, but if it’s all the same to you I would prefer to remember the cheerful, elderly gentleman I met some time ago!

Bob was a special man, always so positive and fun to be around. Our favorite memories of Bob are of him playing Santa Claus every year for our kids and family - even though he wasn't a very big guy!! He always made an effort to have a little something personal to say about each child before giving them their present. Most recently, he helped our Dad deal with the loss of our Mom, sale of his house and transition to Assisted Living. He spent time almost every day with our Dad, which I'm very grateful he did. We will miss Bob.
