Age 82, of New Berlin, WI, died Sunday night, December 10th, 2017 at his home surrounded by the love and affection of his family. Born May 8th, 1935 in Milwaukee, WI. He was the son of the late Daniel Patrick Hanley and Ruth Emma Hanley (Zoeller).
Bob’s list of accomplishments included:
•Sang with his Mother at the piano
•An Eagle Scout
•A Counselor at Red Arrow Camp
•Performed in plays in high school, college, at the Sunset Playhouse and many commercials
•Member of SAG – AFTRA
•Did modeling – a couple favorites were for Priests vestments and the life size cut out of the “Friendly Pharmacist” at Walgreens nationwide
•Graduate of Marquette with degrees in Speech and Theology
•Speaker for many different organizations including Right to Life
•Finished his professional career as President of Transpersonnel, Inc.
He enjoyed spending time with his family. He had a gift for captivating an audience with stories and jokes. He loved canoeing, fishing, cross country skiing, walking in the woods to find a stump to enjoy a beer on and sitting around a campfire. Camp Moon was one of his favorite havens.
He is survived by his beautiful, loving wife of 61 years Elaine Mary Hanley (Pedriana), 8 children: Daniel, Eileen (Dan), Kathleen, Christopher (Karen), Peggy (late husband Doug)(Brian), Brendan (Stacy), Patrick (Nicki), Sara (John). 24 grandchildren: Laura, Daniel, Kathryn, Julia, Nicole, Tony, Michelle, J.J., Anna, Eli, Michael, John, Daniel, Sally, Sean, Ben, Callan, Brenna, Caitlin, Jack, Ryan, Finnian, Athena and Baby. Plus, 18 great grandchildren: Addalie, Austin, Andrew, Hannah, Everett, Gus, Audrey, Theo, Frankie, Baby, Baby, Riley, Robert, Henry, Emmalynn, Jackson, Mariano and Isabella. And a plethora of extended family members.
A private memorial service was held. Thank you everyone for the kind words and prayers.
