Robert “Skeeter” Lambach;
Robert Michael Lambach was known by many names: Bob, Robert, Rob, and Skeeter. Bob was born on November 7, 1937, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He grew up in Milwaukee with two younger sisters, Sharon and Sonja. He attended Green Bay Avenue Elementary School and Rufus King High School. Then Bob enrolled at MSOE. After graduating from MSOE with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Bob began a tool-and-die apprenticeship at Allen-Bradley where he worked for over 40 years.
Kathy Lambach was the love of Bob’s life. Bob and Kathy met at 19 and 16 respectively, dated for six years and married in 1962.
Bob loved to play racquetball and was a competitive pistol shooter. Racing and motorsports were a lifelong passion for Bob. He owned many cars that he enjoyed working on, including a race car that he raced at Hale Corners Speedway and other local dirt tracks in the area.
Bob died suddenly but peacefully on November 15, 2023, at home with his wife, Kathy, by his side. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Anna Lambach, his sister, Sharon (Lambach) Goad and his brother-in-law, Derrick Goad.
Bob is survived by wife Kathy, sister Sonja Lambach Pavlik (Bob), son Chris (Laurie) and daughter Cyndi Kaye (Brad Beran); grandchildren Aubrey Lambach Lyon (Erik), Lauren Lambach Parr (Daniel) and Jon Stodghill (Julie Evens); grandson by marriage David Beran (Jamie); great-grandchildren Payton Lyon, Levi Parr, and Harvest Beran. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Bob’s family is hosting an Open House to celebrate Bob’s life on Saturday, December 9 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Resurrection Lutheran Church, 12400 West Cold Spring Road in New Berlin. The Open House is preceded by a memorial service in the church at 3:00 PM.
