Robert Lee Wiese, 86, passed away peacefully at home on February 7th, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of faith, service, and devotion to family.
Born the middle child to Hilbert and Dorothy (Kurth) Wiese, Bob was born on Thursday, November 16, 1939, and spent his entire life at Kurth Farms in Pewaukee, WI.
Bob is preceded in death by his parents, brother Kurth Wiese, beloved wife, Adair (Aylesworth) Wiese, and son, Wallace Wiese.
He graduated in 1957 as part of the first graduating class of Arrowhead High School, proudly receiving his diploma as the second student in his class – just behind his lifelong best friend, Bobby Groth. Bob went onto attend the University of Wisconsin – Madison Short Course, furthering his education and deepening his passion for agriculture and farming.
A man of deep faith, Bob was a member of Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church and a charter member of Divine Redeemer Church in Hartland, WI. His faith and dedication to his church community were central to his life.
Bob honorably served his country in the National Guard from 1963 – 1969, demonstrating his strong sense of duty and patriotism.
Farming and working the land were at the heart of Bob’s life. He found joy and purpose in agriculture, caring for his livestock, tending crops, and passing down the knowledge and appreciation for farming to future generations. His love for the land reflected his strong work ethic, humility, and respect for God’s creation.
He is lovingly survived by his sister, Karen (Wiese) Cotter; daughters, Wynn (Jon) Wittkopf, Wanda (Michael) Richardson; daughter in law, Shelly (Mueller) Wiese; Honorary daughters, Hope (Marshall) Gronewold, Heather (Mark) Sobczak; grandchildren Mariah & Kayden Richardson, Casie & Abbie Wiese, Robyn (Zachary) Schanau, Kurth (Emilia) Wittkopf, Auretta (Matthew) Szarmach; honorary grandchildren Myles & Gabrielle Gronewold, Audrey & Olivia Sobczak; great-grandchildren Levi Jon Schanau & Wyatt Lee Szarmach; in addition to many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Bob will be remembered for his quiet strength, kindness, integrity, and unwavering love for his family. He took great pride in his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren and cherished every moment spent with them.
Bob’s memories will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Services will be held on Monday, February 16, 2026, at Shepherd of the Hills Church, N36 W24130 Pewaukee Road Highway 164, Pewaukee, Wisconsin. Visitation will take place from 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM followed by a service at 6:30 PM. Interment 10:00 AM at The Gardens of Stonebank Cemetery in Hartland, Wisconsin on Tuesday, February 17, 2026.
