Robert J. “Bob” Danek

Passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 4, 2015, at the age of 83 years. Husband of the late Violet (nee Powell). Devoted father of Shelley (Justin) Norkunas, Robert (Mary Jo) Danek and John (Annmarie) Danek. Devoted and loving grandfather of Jennifer (Michael), Robert (Kyle), Leanna, Marley and Lindsay. Great-grandfather of Evelyn Vi and Khai Ray. Beloved brother of Dorothy Hujik. Also survived by other friends and family.

Memorial Gathering at the Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Friday, January 16, 2015, from 1:00-2:45 PM. Celebration of Bob's life at 3:00 PM. Memorials are appreciated to the Ronald McDonald House Charities Eastern Wisconsin.

Bob served in the US Air Force and was stationed in Alaska. He enjoyed spending time at the family cottage in Northern Wisconsin and was an avid fisherman. He is also a former Scout Master for Troop 240 and Pack Leader of Pack 109. He handmade ornaments that he would hand out to his grandchildren dressed as a makeshift Santa. He was a constant tinkerer who always made time for children and grandchildren.
