Of Thiensville, Wisconsin died of a heart attack on Thursday, August 20, 2009 at the age of 70. Robert was the son of John Henry and Miriam Edith Switzer (nee Smith) born December 28, 1938 in Aurora, Illinois. He attended Greenman Grade School and graduated from West Aurora High School. In Aurora he was employed by Oberweis Dairy and U-Haul Company. While with U-Haul he was transferred to Milwaukee, WI and served as president. He was also employed at R.P.S. and retired from Fed Ex Ground. While living in Aurora he was a member of Trinity Episcopal Church and in Wisconsin a member of Christ Church in Whitefish Bay. He was prededed in death by his parents and brother, John Richard "Dick" Switzer. He was his wife Sandy's "Knight in Shining Armor" and they were happily married for 51 years. They and family celebrated their 50th anniversary with a trip to Orlando and Disney World. Bob is survived by his wife Sandra Fay (nee Kain), Loving father of Miriam Soleimani, of Milwaukee, WI, Robert K. (Lora), of Fond du Lac, WI, Deborah (Willard) Geibenrath, of Mequon, WI, and David (Molly) Switzer of Salt Lake City, UT. Dear brother of Vennetta May Switzer of Naperville, IL and Mary Jeannette (John) Ingrassia of St. Helena Island, SC. Brother-in-law of Beverly Switzer of Montgomery, IL. Proud grandpa of Cheryl (Chad) Johnson, Daniel Soleimani, Emily, Katee, Charley, Moriah, Joshua and Kayleigh Switzer, Matthew (Laura), Rebecca, Wesley and Stephanie Geibenrath; 2 great-grandchildren Nathan Giebenrath and Owen Johnson.
