Robert “Bob” Eckley

June 6, 1938 - February 3, 2018

Robert “Bob” Eckley of New Berlin, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 3, 2018, at the age of 79. He was born June 6, 1938 to Carol and Florence (nee Mullinix) Eckley.

He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Rosemary (nee Brady), three sons, Steven (Shannon) of Rhinelander, Mark of Fredonia, and Colin (Kari) of Mukwonago. He will be missed by his two grandchildren, Devin Eckley of Mukwonago, and April Eckley of Rhinelander.  He is also survived by his sister, Karen Reeck (nee Eckley) of Marion, Wi. He is further survived by nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.

Bob was a truck driver most of his life. He retired from the City of New Berlin Highway Department after almost 30 years. Model railroading was his favorite hobby. He was extremely involved as a leader in the Cub and Boy Scout programs. He was a member of the New Berlin Lions Club and the Lions international Youth Exchange Program.

At his request, private services were held with burial at Highland Memorial Cemetery, New Berlin.
