Called home to the Lord on March 8, 2017, at age 86. Reunited with his wife Joan (nee Graap). Dad of Jan (Scott) Meddaugh, Chris (Barb) Koeslin, Tom ( Kathy) Koeslin and Ken Koeslin. Further survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren and friends.

Visitation will be at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin, on Monday, March 13, 2017 at 1:00 PM, until time of service at 2:00 PM. Private internment at Wisconsin Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 7821 West Lincoln Avenue, West Allis, WI 53219.

My sincere condolences to the Koeslin family. Our family lived next door through most of my childhood, and I remember how kind and friendly Bob always was. Even years after when I had moved away and came to visit my Mom, Bob would always stop to talk to me and ask how I was doing. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you through this sad time. A special hello to Janet, my childhood buddy.
