Robert E. Dummer

Called to the Lord on August 9, 2009 at age 74. Loving husband of Barbara for 49 years. Beloved father of Robert J. (Beth) Dummer and Deborah (Bill) Campbell. Proud grandpa of Rachel and Rebekah Dummer, Maddie, Claire, Olivia, and Billy Campbell.Bob attended Boys' Tech, MSOE, and Milwaukee Institute of Technology. He served in the Air Force with Strategic Air Command as a Sargeant and Crew Chief for the B47. He retired from Bucyrus Erie after 25 years of service.Bob enjoyed playing volley ball and always looked forward to playing with his volley ball friends. He also enjoyed seeing the grandchildren and watching them in their sports.Bob was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather, and my best friend and love of my life.Visitation at GOOD SHEPHERD EVANGELICAL LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1235 South 100th Street, on Saturday, August 15, 2009 at 10:00 AM until time of Funeral Service at 12:00 noon. Burial at St. John Lutheran Church Cemetery at 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials appreciated to the Good Shepherd Evangelical Lutheran Church Organ Fund.
