Robert D. Olsen

Robert D. Olsen, age 82, died Wednesday, January 3, 2024, at Froedtert Hospital Milwaukee, following Lewy Body Dementia. He was born in West Allis on March 17, 1941, to Henry S. Olsen and Clara (Benson) Olsen. He leaves behind his loving and devoted wife of 46 years, Celeste J. (Zimdars) Olsen, and children Troy D. Olsen, Kristen M. Mayer, Shane S. Olsen, stepdaughter Angela (Victor) Centeno and adopted daughter Jodi (Terry) Mueller. Also, grandchildren Marisa Abbinanti and Mitchell Bernards, Gabriel Olsen, Jacob and Austin Mayer, and Bradly Mueller. Further survived by his brother, Hank, nieces, and nephews. Preceded in death by his precious son, Brett A. Olsen, sisters Marlene Feener, Gloria Lemmer, Charlotte Hafemann, and both parents. Cremation will take place at Krause Funeral Home.

Service will be held at Holy Apostles Catholic Church, New Berlin, Wisconsin on Saturday, January 27, 2024, with viewing from 11:30 AM until time of Mass at 1:00 PM. Luncheon to follow at That’s Amoré. Burial will take place at Highland Memorial Park at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial gift to Holy Apostles Catholic Church, or the Alzheimer’s Association, in Robert’s name are appreciated.
