Richard R. Piotrowski passed away peacefully at the age of 73. Loving dad of Michael (Kristy) Piotrowski, Kristin Piotrowski, and Sierra (Rey) Richardson. Adoring grandpa of Ashton, Kaden, Lindsey, Eva, and Remmington. Beloved brother of Theresa and Robert Piotrowski. He is further survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family; and by former spouses Linda Humphrey, Patty Griess, and Sherry Meregillano.
Richard attended Boys Tech High School in Milwaukee where he became interested in engineering and competed at the state level as a swimmer. He later attended UW Whitewater, Northern Illinois University, East Tennessee State, and Cardinal Stritch where he earned his degree. Richard spent 30+ years as a plant manager and executive with Snap-On Tools which brought him to Wisconsin, Tennessee, California, and Kunshan, China. In retirement, he took on hobby jobs with Valveworks USA in Waukesha, WI and as a parking attendant with the Milwaukee Brewers.
He loved spending time with his kids and grandchildren. He was drawn to the outdoors and enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, hiking, skiing and riding his Harley. He volunteered with the Boy Scouts, Little Switzerland Ski Patrol, and The Mankind Project.
Preceding him in death were his parents, Roman and Virginia Piotrowski , and his sister, Virginia “Ginny” Piotrowski.

Visitation from 4:00 PM – 5:45 PM, followed by a service at 6:00 PM on Monday, July 22, 2024 at Krause Funeral Home, 21600 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Wisconsin.
