Richard Johnny Lotz, 52, of West Allis, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, June 3, 2020, at
his residence.
He was born on September 11, 1967, to Alfred and Evonne (Simac) Lotz in Rhinelander,
Wisconsin.
He is survived by his wife Heather Lotz, daughter Athena Wensing, mother Evonne Lotz, aunt
Wanda Simac, half-sisters Lurena Miller and Jamie Jensen, grandson Adrian Wensing, in-laws
Ronald and Barbara Pratt, and the Koehlers who are close family friends. Also loved by
brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and many, many
friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Al, and brother John.
Richard drove semi-trucks in the greater Milwaukee area for 25 years. Richard loved bowling in his Saturday Sociables league from years ago. He enjoyed role-playing and online gaming and was the ultimate dungeon master of D&D and guild leader of WoW, for which he formed many friendships. He loved all of his fur babies, especially his snuggle buddy Thor who will miss him dearly. He will be remembered most for his great sense of humor and contagious laugh.
The family is planning a memorial for Richard on Friday, September 11, 2020, which would
have been his 53rd birthday.
We will miss you, but you’ll be in our hearts forever.
