Was met at the gates of Heaven by his wife, Bev on Friday morning, October 16, 2015 at age 75. Dick is survived by daughters, Kris Hagen and Kelly (John) Friedl and granddaughters, Isabella (12) and Addison (8); and was preceded in death by his parents, Ethel and Earl Hagen and his brother Jim.
Visitation at Krause Funeral Home Friday, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, October 23 from 10-1:45PM. Funeral Service at 1PM.
Dick and Bev married on May 5, 1962 and after finishing his Military Service at Fort Knox, moved back to Milwaukee. In 1978, they moved their family to New Berlin. After serving as a mechanic for Advance Transportation, Dick was fortunate enough to retire early which allowed him to pursue his favorite past-times of hunting, fishing, cooking and taking naps (or as he would say "resting his eyes").
As a man of few words, Dick expressed his feelings in so many other ways such as teaching Kris how to use the 4-wheel drive on her jeep because he just knew with her driving, she was going to flip it; or keeping Kelly company daily for over a month through her baby blues; dressing up as a 50's greaser for Isabella's grandparents day program to laying on the floor with Addison as a newborn trying to teach her to roll over.
He will be deeply missed by all.
