I have fought the good fight; I have won the race.

With faith, hope, and courage, Hector J. Morales stepped into eternity on July 16, 2023, surrounded by his loving family.

Born on December 12, 1948, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic to Carlos Morales and Eloisa Gil Ozuna. Hector was raised with his two siblings, Roberto Morales, and Marianelis Morales.

Hector attended the Theological Seminary in the Dominican Republic. The seminary is also where he met his future wife, Manuela. Upon graduating, he relocated to California and later to Lawrence, Massachusetts. In Boston, he continued his studies at Gordon College.

On January 11, 1975, Hector married Manuela Noboa. Their loving home welcomed three beautiful daughters: Laura, Karen, and Raquel. From early in his life, he began to fulfill his calling as a pastor, and they were active in ministry in Massachusetts, Texas, and Wisconsin.

Upon Manuela’s passing in 2008, he met and married Mirla Herrera in 2016. Their love and passion for people carried through until his final moments as they continued to serve as pastors in Madison, WI.

Hector’s humor, enthusiasm, wisdom, joyfulness, and selfless love for others won over the hearts of many; thousands of lives were transformed throughout his 40 years in ministry.

Above all, his family was first and foremost. He was a loving and devoted husband and adored his daughters and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Mirla. His daughters Laura (Danny), Karen (Angel), and Raquel (Danny) as well as his beloved grandchildren: Josiahs, Caleb, Ethan, Dahlia, Arianna, Alexander, Jacob, and Katalina. He is also survived by his siblings Roberto and Marianelis.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM on July 28, 2023 at Krause Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, New Berlin, Wisconsin. Memorial service will be celebrated at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 29, 2023.
