Age 81, died on December 15, 2018, at AZURA Memory Care. He leaves his wife, Shirley Ann Jacques, his sons Jeffrey Jacques, Maureen and Perry Jacques, and Katherine and Jay Jacques and five grandsons; Turner, Charles, Louis, Thomas and Adam Jacques. Surviving siblings Jacquie and Marvin Fleischman, Marjorie and Ronald Westerhouse, Shirley and Robert Jacques, Donna and Donald Jacques. Preceded in death by an infant daughter, parents Esther and Joseph, his brother Glen and sister Arlene. Also loved by relatives and many dear friends.
Catholic Mass will be held on Saturday, December 22nd, at 9:30 AM at St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish, W314 N7462, State Road 83, North Lake, WI. Reception to follow at Chenequa Country Club, 6250 State Road 83, Hartland, WI.
Ray was born in Sheboygan Falls, WI on March 30, 1937. He graduated from Goodrich High in Fond Du Lac in 1955. He served in the U.S. Army for two-years in Germany before returning to Milwaukee in 1960.
Ray and his wife of 57 years, Shirley, ran a successful coin laundry, dry cleaning, and commercial real estate business for 37 years. Owning as many as 12 individual coin laundry locations, they were the largest operation in Wisconsin. Ray moved their family to Hartland in 1973 from Milwaukee. Active in the community they were members of the Hartland Chamber of Commerce, St Charles Catholic Church, Classic Thunderbird Club of Wisconsin, and the Beaver Lake Yacht Club

In lieu of flowers, the family asked that donations be made in memory of Ray to Alzheimer’s Association or American Cancer Society.
