He was preceded in death by his son Jerome, brothers Francis, Donald, and wives Elizabeth Delfeld and Kathleen Peterson. He will be also missed by his grandchildren Eric, Andrew, Reid, James, Katherine, David, Robert, Jackie, William, Elizabeth, and John. Also survived by his loving sisters Evelyn Lund, Dolores (Daniel) Zimmer, special cousin Fr. Robert Brodzeller, S.J. and many relatives and friends, especially those at the Cloisters Condominium where he lived. Ralph will be missed in a very special way by his beloved friend and companion Mary O'Brien.Mr. Delfeld was a graduate of Pius XI High and Marquette University, College of Mechanical Engineering. In addition to being a dedicated husband and father, he found time to be active in many church and school affairs. Recent years were spent serving his condominium in various capacities. Other activities he enjoyed included golf, bowling, cards, hunting fishing, reading and painting.Visitation at ST. MARGARET MARY CATHOLIC CHURCH, 3970 N. 92nd St., Tuesday, August 10, 9-11 AM.
