Answered the Lord's calling, Tuesday Dec. 30, 2008. Age 86. Husband of Maria, father of Frances, David and Susan. Survived by sister Betty and loved by many relatives, friends and associates. Visitation at Wisconsin Memorial Park Chapel of the Chimes, 13235 West Capitol Drive, Brookfield, Friday, January 9, 12:00 noon until 2:00 PM with services to follow. Ralph was a WWII veteran who served with the Army Third Division in Europe and Africa. Beginning in 1955, he taught musical education at Steuben Junior High School for 32 years. Ralph helped found the All-City Orchestra featuring the best and brightest of Milwaukee Public Schools' young musical talent. After retirement in 1987, he continued with private music lessons on behalf of MPS until 2007. In his unique fashion, he inspired appreciation for good music in generations of MPS students.
