Quinn Richardson, 11. Our beloved son passed away on October 26, 2015.
The entire community is sure to miss this substantial young man. Quinn was new to the Wauwatosa area, and more specifically to Longfellow Middle school, where Quinn had just began attending in the Fall. In spite of this, Quinn yet still managed to deeply touch the lives of all the Family's he had met there. But Quinn's sphere of influence reached far beyond just Wauwatosa; Quinn had previously lived with his family in one of Milwaukee's trendy Eastside neighborhoods- an area commonly known and referred to as Riverwest. There, Quinn had attended Elementary school at La Escuela Fratney, from the tender age of 4 way back in Kindergarten, all the way up to this last Fall when Quinn had just finished fifth grade and was graduating into Secondary School. Quinn and his family, whom he was survived by Quinn's Mother Delilah K Richardson, his father Sean D. Richardson, and his three older siblings, named Kyle R. Richardson 21 years old, who was Quinn"s oldest brother, Kane P. Richardson at 20 years old, and finally Quinn"s only sister, Sierra A. Richardson who is 14 years old. While Quinn was attending at La Escuela Fratney he made many friends, and had truly touched the lives of a great many people involved in or related to his school, This was especially true due to the close proximity that Quinn's family home shared with the school, with them being on the same block as one another. A great many of La Escuela's other participants and even faculty shared this in common with Quinn, as several teachers also lived in the immediate area surrounding the school, which may also explain why their was a very true sense of community surrounding the area. All of this lead to Quinn having had the chance to become unusually close with many of his former teachers. So I am sure that it is with very heavy hearts that they received the news of Quinn's unexpected and sudden, tragic death. Many will certainly reach out and share their stories of this bright talented young man and the countless retellings of his devilish smile, infectious nature and his wonderful sense of humor still cannot possibly do him justice. Some say only the good die young and this was definitely exemplified with Quinn. He never had a harsh word to say to anyone and all of his family would definitely tell you he was one of the most selfless people you could ever meet… Always offering all a helping hand, and always the one to try to diffuse a tense situation if one ever arose in his presence. Quinn truly lived everyday to its fullest; He longed for the opportunity to get everyone in the room just laughing with total abandonment at every possible occasion, Quinn truly was a ham, and words just cannot begin to accurately describe the wonder and joy one would be filled with if given even an afternoon to spend with this child!
Then there's Quinn's amazing intelligence not to soon be forgotten either all his little crazy stories and analogies about …"if Bill Gates gave everyone a dollar every day how he still wouldn't be bankrupt even if he lived another 57 years and then how many eleven years old do you know who even know what penny stocks even are no less the innate workings of mutual funds and commodities!" Quinn had so many talents there is truly no telling what he could of created or invented but all I can say is he truly would of become a man of many fortunes and the world truly will be a little darker with out him one of its absolute brightest little stars burning away growing stronger, bigger and brighter every single day anymore….. and for me to say that its unfair is such an understatement of mass proportions that I cannot even try to explain it to you… But what can be said is that despite this tragic loss of someone so young and so full of potential we still yet, have to keep trying to each be just a little bit better than we were the day before because that is what Quinn would want us to keep doing! He wouldn't want us to just let our grief overcome us, he would not want us to cry for him day after day….Instead I'm sure he would insist that we all use our many found memories of all that Quinn was and let them inspire us to all try just a little bit harder, to reach a lil bit further just for him!! To be the best person that we can each become… when we think of him to smile and wipe those tears away…. because I know that truly is what would make him be his happiest from wherever he is now watching over all of us just like the beautiful sweet angel that we all knew him to be…..
