Peter Joseph McIntyre

Found peace while surrounded by his family on March 31, 2014, at the age of 52. Beloved husband of Patrice (née Adams), for 22 years. Devoted father of Benjamin. Brother of John (Nancy) McIntyre, Paul (Chih) McIntyre, William (Tammy) McIntyre, Susan McIntyre, Richard (Sandy) McIntyre, Stephen McIntyre, and Patty McIntyre. Son-in-law of Norval "Red" and the late Dorothy Adams. Brother-in-law of Terry (Bob) Harvey, Nancy Schmitt, the late Barbara Adams, Tony (Linda) Adams, Tom (special friend Diane Rolbiecki) Adams, and Susan (Joel) Farris. Also loved by nephews, nieces, other relatives, and friends.

To Pete, the love of my life and father of our son, I cannot adequately express the depths of my sorrow. You were a wonderful man, a good person, a best friend. The memories that we have created as a family will be cherished and remembered and will give us strength in the days, months and years to come. You fought your 10 year battle with cancer with determination, tenacity and grace. Cancer never defined you or our family. We will remember your warmth, humor, compassion and joy of life.

In lieu of flowers, a memorial scholarship has been established for Pete and Patrice's son, Benjamin. Donations can be made to the Peter J. McIntyre Memorial Fund at any BMO Harris Bank.
