Ken Klein left a message on December 29, 2025:
Our condolences to the family. Penny was the wife of my first cousin, Bob. Super girl, so vibrant and outgoing. I can remember their wedding at Christ King. Beautiful day and a reception on the lake shore in Oconomowoc . Also an excellent watercolor artist. Just a terrific and strong person with all she had to endure. You deserve the best heaven has to offer. May you rest in peace.

Penny is well described in the obituary. I was fortunate enough to be friends with Penny since kindergarten!….In the time since her death I have reflected on the many things we did through the years. Penny was not just a stroke survivor, but she thrived through much hard work to return as much as possible to a full life. She never quit! The loss of Bob was a big weight for her to carry, but she continued on despite that loss. Penny loved to meet for lunch at the Cheesecake Factory at Mayfair and always shared about her sons and their families …and that was a lot. Penny’s caregivers were amazing for these last years of her life. It allowed her to remain at home where she was happiest. Though I am sad that she is not here anymore, I have so many great memories and again I say I feel blessed to have had her in my life.
