Paul Westphal was welcomed home by the Lord on Saturday, September 1, 2018, age 82. He was preceded in death by parents Albert and Lydia Westphal. Survived by wife Dolores. A father to all the local kids always willing to spend time with us kids playing football and baseball and building a sledding trail from the golf course through there back yard always having to find time for the neighborhood kids im so sorry to hear about the passing of Paul. Growing up as a child we were next door neighbors with Paul and Delores. Paul was not only a great neighbor but, one of the most giving and carisimatic people that I ever knew! One moment that I had with Paul that I will never forget is when he stood with me at my father's funeral. He was a stand up guy, a great friend and an example of what people should be! Thank you! And Godspeed!

I never got to tell you this but you are one of the kindest people that ever touched my life. You always had a smile when you seen me and treated me as your son. You were always there for me if I needed it and I will never let go of the memories of being the neighbor kid and life long friend. Have a beer with my father if you see him..
