Passed away peacefully on May 2, 2016. Age 90. Precious dad of Ross (Robbie) and Ginny Konkel. Dear grampa to Debra, Amy, Vince, Paul, Laura, and Rachel. Great-grampa of ten. Survived by sisters Mary Deterly of San Diego and Helen (Tom) Noll of Milwaukee. Fond uncle of eleven nieces and nephews. Predeceased by beloved wife of 46 years, Gyneth, two great-granddaughters Nicole and Avaleigh, and devoted parents Paul F. and Florence Stoppenbach. Paul was a 53-year employee of Cleaver-Brooks Co. After being widowed and retiring, Paul became an active member of the West Allis Moose Lodge. He was an ardent outdoorsman and shared that love with his faithful black labradors, Meggie and Molly. Paul made many friends throughout his life. He never lost his ability to engage new people, something that continued even on the day he died.

Visitation at Krause Funeral Home, 9000 West Capitol, Milwaukee, Friday, May 6, 2016 at 5:00 PM – 6:45 PM. Funeral Service at 7:00 PM. Paul will be interred at North Clayton Cemetery in Soldiers Grove, WI.
