Paul grew up in Pewaukee, Wisconsin. He had a fascination with the local television weathercasts from an early age. He graduated with honors from UW-Madison in 1986 with a degree in meteorology and began his on-air career in Duluth, MN. Over the years, he moved to stations in Waterloo, IA, Tucson, AZ, the Quad Cities, and finally achieved his dream of returning home to Milwaukee in 1993. He worked in local television for ten years and especially enjoyed presenting educational programs to schools and community groups. In 2006 Paul received his MBA from Marquette University and then earned his CFA designation, working most recently as a financial analyst and client adviser.
Paul had a life-long love of music, from classical to rock. He started learning the piano at a young age, and was an accomplished pianist. He especially enjoyed playing in the Pewaukee High School musicals. In recent years he played the keyboard in several local bands and churches.
Paul's greatest joy in life, however, was his family. The gift Paul has left them is the example of how he lived life with passion and determination. He accomplished every goal he ever set for himself. Paul's humble and sincere personality was loved by all who met him and he will be dearly missed.
