Called home into Jesus’ Loving Arms on December 16, 2018 at age 83. Beloved husband of Marilyn Antonia (nee Krauser) for 63 years. Loving father of Anne Marie (the late), Michael, Miriam (Steve), Laura (Gary) and Christopher (Joy). Proud Opa of Jeffrey, Cala, Danielle, Stephan, Melissa (Jon), Veronica, Christian, Noah, Vanessa, Isiah, Nicholas, Benjamin, and Isaac. Affectionate Great Opa of JT, Lissette, Damien, Dominic, E.J., Bella, Gabriel, Jeremiah, Nicholas, Serenity, Vanessa, Scarlett, Viviana and Leonardo. Further survived by his sister in laws Bernadette and June, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by his parents, Otto and Lucy Timm, his in laws George and Veronica Krauser, his brother Howard and his brother in laws, George and Howard.
Otto’s parents immigrated into the United States and he was a first-generation American citizen having been born and raised in Milwaukee, WI. He graduated from Messmer High School and worked by his father’s side at Clean Cut Tool and Die. He entered into the Naval Reserves at Great Lakes Naval Base where he was a HAMM radio operator. Otto met the love of his life, Marilyn Antonia and they were married on June 25, 1955. He then worked for P&H mining company as a tool and die maker. Otto concluded his career working and retiring from Mercury Marine on July 6, 2004.
Otto was a Scout Master for the Boy Scouts. In 1972, he co-founded the first bass club in Wisconsin and played fastpitch softball for Wisconsin’s “Big 8”. He was a part of the Milwaukee Metro Clown Club, Ally 37 and entertained children in the hospital and in parades. He was a dedicated, long-term member of St. Bernadette Catholic Church, serving as a Eucharistic Minister and an usher. He also belonged to the Knights of Columbus. Although he had many hobbies throughout the years, his passion was fishing and in spending time with his family, making memories that they will cherish forever.
Visitation at Krause Funeral Home, 9000 West Capitol Drive, Milwaukee, WI on Thursday, December 20, from 4:00 PM – 6:15 PM. Prayers and Words of Remembrance at 6:30 PM. Additional visitation at St. Bernadette Catholic Church, 8200 West Denver Ave, Milwaukee, on Friday, December 21 from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial at Noon. Burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery.
