(Nee Loehner) Died peacefully, Friday, August 16, 2013, at the age of 91. She was born on May 30, 1922, in Burlington, WI. Norma married the late Roger C. Seidler in 1948, and they had four children, with the family first living in Milwaukee, West Allis, and then Wind Lake, before retirement took her and Roger to Nakomis, Florida. Norma was a long-time breast cancer survivor.
Norma enjoyed professional employment much of her life, first at Old Line Life Insurance followed by the Wisconsin State Fair. She then spent many years helping to manage the Milwaukee Board of Realtors Home Show and the Wonderful World of Weddings at State Fair Park. She was also elected as Secretary of the National Association for Exposition Management, and enjoyed her honorary title as a Kentucky Colonel.
In "retirement" Norma was very active in the National Association of Retired Federal Workers, holding a variety of elected positions, including treasurer of the Florida Chapter. She enjoyed reading, writing her memoirs (using her computer at age 91!), and could not pass up a good crossword puzzle.
Norma had four children, Margaret Waala (husband Samuel), the late Richard, Sharon Malkowsky (husband Gregory), and Cathy Coenen (husband Douglas). Norma was also a very proud grandmother of Katie (Waala) Willenbourg, Joseph Molkowsky, and Andrew, Sara and Sam Coenen, and great-grandmother of Ryan Wilenbourg and Jackson Malkowsky.
Norma was preceded in death by her parents, Linda and George Loehner, brothers Roy and Karl, her husband Roger, and son Ricky.
Visitation at the Funeral Home, 12401 West National Avenue, on Friday, September 13, at 4:00-5:45 PM. Memorial Service at 6:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to those who cared for her at Presbyterian Homes Foundation, 222 Park Ave, Waukesha, WI 53186 and Seasons Hospice, 3217 Fiddlers Creek Dr., Waukesha, WI 53188.
