My dear sweet funny friend. The world will miss you. I’ve been going back in my memory bank to try and recall a time we weren’t laughing when we were together, but I can’t. Our friendship was full of belly laughs and I will always cherish those moments.
We have the fun memories of going to college parties at UWM while we were still in high school. I recall one time you got into an argument with a guy you liked; I can’t remember who he is, but after you two went your separate ways, you (and me) started laughing at how silly that interaction was.
As the years progressed, we didn’t hang out much, but we always kept in touch and let each other know how much we loved the other.
Thank you for inviting me to your shows. I remember you telling me you were going to be a standup comedian. I thought to myself, how bold! You did it and you were great. I remember bringing a crew to the comedy club on Silver Spring to support you. That was such a fun night.
Fast forward to my wedding on May 28, 2022. I was so happy you made the event. It meant the world to me to have you there and I pray you knew how happy I was to see you. I only invited a handful of girlfriends to share in that day and you were one of the first persons that I knew I must invite.
Thank you for always cheering me on from afar.
I’m going to miss you beautiful. I promise to talk to you.
Thank you for the 30+ years of friendship.
I love you Nola
